This role is within our information governance team and will be working primarily in archival appraisal, retention scheduling, and information management policy generally. We’re strongly integrated into IT and have exciting new plans to bring information governance controls into the whole ecosystem of IT applications not typically thought of as “records systems.” We’re a diverse team from all over the world that solves challenges with creativity and curiosity, embraces technology to increase the impact our archival holdings can create, and brings effective information governance to the WBG’s current information assets. Established in 1944 at Bretton Woods, the World Bank Group (WBG) is a multilateral international organization that works to eliminate extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity around the world. The WBG Archives & Records unit has responsibilities for WBG records throughout the lifecycle, as well as for implementing the World Bank’s Access to Information Policy and promoting WBG history.
This is a three-year term position with the possibility for extension and transition to open-ended employment. While salary is dependent on education and experience, the range is typically between $71,000 and $95,000 USD and is free of income tax or tax allowance may be provided.
